Breakfast Menu

Ryuusenkaku has developed a new children's menu in conjunction with "Arima 88 (Rice) Project. In the course of upgrading our children meals, we have also changed our breakfast menu to include ingredients such as brown rice and natto (fermented soybeans), which are known for their high nutritional value, and have stopped using eggs and milk in preparation of breakfast meals. (Menu is subject to partial changes according to season and availability.)
A Breakfast Only Plan is also available at Ryuusenkaku for your kind consideration.

  • Six Item Assortment for Health
    1.Umekurage
    This chewy dish of jellyfish flavored with plum gives a refreshing taste to the palate and is popular with ladies.
    2.Sand Lance Boiled in Soy Sauce
    Sand lance is boiled in sweetened soy sauce and seasoned with the Japanese spice sansho, a specialty of Arima.
    3.Shira-ae
    This highly nutritional vegetable dish includes konnyaku, carrots, and spinach and is a food that even a small child will find easy to eat.
    4.Boiled Hijiki (Brown Seaweed)
    Since this food is particularly effective in helping to prevent anemia, an ailment frequently occurring in women, we strongly encourage beginning the day with this dish for breakfast.
    5.Burdock Boiled in Sugar and Soy Sauce
    With its abundance of fiber, this dish is a strong ally to the stomach. Starting the day with burdock will help the functioning of the digestive system.
    6.Three Varieties of Beans and Brown Rice
    Three types of beans, soybeans, garbanzo beans, and red kidney beans, are prepared in a light salad style.
  • Boiled Tofu and Kelp in Soy Sauce
    Soybeans (isoflavone) are indispensable for mom's beauty and health as well and we have also added fresh vegetables. Served in an individual-sized pot, this dish will warm the body up and is particularly tasty with a special soy sauce seasoned with the juice of pom oranges.
  • Grilled Salmon (served with a mustard eggplant sauce)
    The grilled salmon fulfills nutritional requirements with a volume that satisfies the stomach and is popular with small children. It is an item that goes well with warm rice. We have added a spicy mustard sauce for added flavor.
  • Grated Yam
    Other than starch, this dish is also loaded with protein, B vitamins, vitamin C, and assorted minerals. The mucin contained in yams is regarded as a highly nutritional food and has an extremely positive nutritional effect on the body.
  • Miso Soup with Rice Vermicelli Made from Brown Rice
    Because calories and carbohydrates are lower than conventional polished rice, this rice vermicelli made from brown rice is considered particularly nutritious, especially when combined with miso soup, a dish including a large amount of soybeans (isoflavone), and is a food that is easy to eat.
  • Assortment of 3 types of pickles
    The assortment of 3 types of pickled vegetables of the day are served, (Vegetable types are subject to change.)
  • Dessert of the day
    This is the recommended sweet of the day. (Desserts are subject to change.)
