Considered one of "Japan's Big Three Night Views" alongside those experienced in Hakodate and Nagasaki, the night view from Mount Rokko was the first to be called the "The Million Dollar Night View." This name was given several years after the end of the World War II when the number of lights in Kobe visible from Mount Rokko numbered around 4,960,000, and the monthly cost to keep them lit was roughly equivalent to one million dollars at the time the rate was calculated. Since then, traditions have increased accompanying the development of Kobe, and the night view itself has been promoted to "The Ten Million Dollar Night View."
All of the staff at Ryuusenkaku are eagerly waiting to serve the many visitors from around the world coming to the beauty of Arima Onsen and neighboring areas.
